During 2007, Selena Mirams spent three months in Sri Lanka, researching joint projects with EMACE and obtaining first-hand experience of the poverty and devastation caused by the tsunami and the civil war. Selena’s focus was on housing and education, and some of her photographs have been put together to make this video report.

Three years on, the civil war is finished but there still remains homelessness and deprivation as a result, as well as the ongoing legacy of the tsunami and inherent poverty.
